Older workers, what if the future of work was shaped by both wisdom and fresh ideas?

That’s exactly what we’re doing—getting WISE about age-friendly workplaces, and building something bold, inclusive, and deeply needed.

The Future of Work is Intergenerational
The Future of Work is Intergenerational

We're teaming up with a bright, passionate student from Simon Fraser University to co-create the WISE (Wisdom, Inclusivity, Synergy, Equity) Age Friendly Workplace Certification Program—a first-of-its-kind initiative. Together, we're:

  • Designing practical tools to help employers become truly age-friendly

  • Creating a meaningful certification that boosts reputation and inclusivity

  • Building a smooth, accessible online experience

  • Engaging workers and employers to shape the process

  • Inviting everyone who values intergenerational workplaces to contribute

  • Testing ideas, learning, and growing something real

According to the BC Seniors Advocate Report Reframing Ageing: British Columbians’ Thoughts On Ageism, ageism is still common in the workplace. That’s why this work matters. Ageing isn’t the issue—ageism is. And that’s exactly what the WISE Certification is here to challenge. Let’s change the story.

Older workers, this is your moment to reshape what it means to work, lead, and thrive at any age. Because the future of work isn’t just multigenerational—it’s intergenerational.
